Markedstilskudd til Young Intro fra Innovasjon Norge!
For noen dager siden fikk jeg svar på min søknad om tilskudd til markedsavklaring fra Innovasjon Norge. Den er godkjent, og vi har fått tildelt det vi søkte om, med hensikten å gjennomføre pilotprosjekt.
Vi søker investorer!
Med god støtte og veiledning fra Kunnskapsparken i Bodø er jeg i gang med arbeidet med å hente kapital inn i selskapet mitt, Young Intro AS. Vi ønsker å komme i kontakt med potensielle investorer som ønsker å bidra i å skape en tryggere hverdag for barn og unge.
The design of “Young Talking”
Children learn through play and interaction with others - through using their imagination and creative abilities, through negotiation and communication, and exploring the world. The importance of play is to develop social, emotional and cognitive abilites. Using Young Intro picture cards is meant to be fun and inclusive, and for children to want to spend time off-line - actively engaging and interacting with others.
Flyktningkonferansen, Trondheim
As a 17-year-old, Mohammed enjoyed life and attended school, and his leisure activities. He was growing to become a young man. Until Syria succumbed to war and conflict in 2011. He fled the country in 2014, when ISIS imposed their extremist terror regime on Syrians. He coincidentally ended up in Norway via human trafficking. Someone told him and showet him on a map where he had arrived. His first reaction was “Norway - is that even a country?”
Our creative design!
Previous experience of having groups with picture cards have shown that they help children express themselves, using their own words and in their own time. Participants have learnt new words and expressions, and engaged in topics that interest them. One girl in Uganda said, “For the first time I have talked about something that is important to me!” Need I say more?
Plans for 2023
In Uganda I ran pilot groups with my product idea of my picture cards and mapping forms. Within a week I had four groups while staying in Jinja, with a total of 75-80 active participants. And even more children observing and listening in, from the age of 3. The children and youth, aged 12 to 23 years old, agreed that it is a good idea, and they expressed how it had helped them, within two-three hours of activity. They expressed that they wish for my ideas to be used in schools in Uganda, for children from the age of 9 years. For me, that was a success.

My first test of the pilot in Uganda
At the end of the activity I asked the youth if they had enjoyed the activity and if they had learnt something. The youth responded that they had learnt to cooperate, to “think big”, that they had been encouraged to work hard and that they had fun. Some had made new friends, and they had good interaction in the groups. One girl mentioned that in the beginning she did not feel confident speaking in a large group, but she felt better in the smaller group.
